Hi Everybody,

I am trying to create a table maintenance generator from the maintenance view created for the standard table ADRC. I have all the key fields in the maintenance view (ZADRC) that is created for ADRC table. However when I create a table maintenance generator for the maintenance view(ZADRC). then the keyfield ADDRNUMBER is not displayed in the output. what could be the reason behind this problem. However when I use some other standard table like LIPS then all the keyfield are displayed. Why there is a problem when dealing with ADRC table?

Thanks Kartik, However when I open the ADRC table then we are able to view the keyfield ADDRNUMBER. This is the problem when we are creating the table maintenance for the maintenance view.

Thanks.

Hi ,

I think you need to make an entry in the table "TSADRV" using transaction SM30.

Please check for Address Table "ADRC" & Address field "ADDRNUMBER", if the group field is maintained or not, if not you can give 'CA01' for SAP customizing address.

If you are trying to update non sap customer developments, then you need to five the group as "ZA01". & U need to make this entry in table "TSAD7" along with the entry "ZADE".

Thanks Mahesh, for the reply, however this is the problem that I was facing before , which is laready sorted out using the table "TSADRV" using transaction SM30.

The real problem is that the key field ADDRNUMBER is not getting displayed in the table maintenance generator?

Hi,

U can find the link for address in the Application toolbar. I think you can not see the address field directly. U can see the Address link (Shift+F5). It will openup a popup where you can fill the values.

Plz check it.

Mahesh

Hi,
Go to SM30 & enter TSADRV view and click on MAINTAIN button
Enter ZA01 as Group.
Save now. It asks for Transport request.
Now maintain your view ZADRC. Thanks Venkat.O

Hi Venkat,

I have already done the below process. Yet I am not able to get the key field ADDRNUMBER in the maintenance generator?

Maintain the table TSADRV with the transaction SM30.

Complete the following entry:

Logical table name: ADRC

Logical field name: ADDRNUMBER

Enter the address group as follows:

Enter 'CA01' for SAP customizing object addresses.

A consistent address group in the customer name space should be used for addresses of non-SAP customizing objects (e.g. customer developments): use the address group 'ZA01'.

As this address group is in the customer name space of the table TSAD7, the entry 'ZA01' must also be made in table TSAD7 in the customer system:

Key: ZA01

Description: Customizing: Customer object addresses

Direct maint.: not marked

Also create the address group 'ZADE' in the table TSAD7 for addresses of deleted customer objects (if the address of the address group 'ZA01' is still referred to elsewhere when you try to delete a customer object, the address is not deleted, the address group is changed to 'ZADE'):

Key: ZADE

Description: Customizing: Adresses of deleted customer objects

Direct maint: not marked

The problem is not solved after doing the above complete process. The key field is yet not seen in the maintenance generator?

Thanks
