Regarding master inspection characteristics

Hi all,

Can we extend master inspection characteristics(QS21) from one plant to another plant like material master & task list.

Dear Bhuvan

1) While extending one mic to another plant in the inspection plan you have to change the plant also. Just by inputing the mic number system will not accept.change the plant adjacent to the MIC field

2) another thing to be noted is the authorisation. While doing RR if a person is not having authorisation for the plant from which the MIC is extended then it can give error.

MIC is Master Inspection char which is Used is multilple inspection plans.It has unique Version.

A MIC created at one plnat but can be used in other plant also ..this is the biggest advantage of a MIC.

You need not to extend it.You can directly use MIC of one plant into other Plant.

I have created one mic for one plant.

I cant able to use it in another plant.

In QP01 lets assume that you are making task list for plant X then....

You are using MIC which is created in plant Y in Plant X ...make sure that when you are entering MIC you change tha plant also.

with appropriate version which is released.
