hi all,

i have this error DB error, from my past knowledge, this is caused by parallel updating to the cube by multiple DTPs, I try one DTP at a time, this still happens, clues anyone?

we are on SAPKW70017 level.

Hi Joe,

you are getting these dumps bcoz of the problem of tablespace

you can also delete some old PSA requests to increase the tablespace....

hope it helps.

Hi

This seems like a BASIS errror. Please consult basis team.

Note: We can have multiple uploads to cube at the same time.

hi SDBI, i have checked with Basis, waiting for reply, i had this kind error before, raised OSS message but the only reply from SAP is reduce number of parallel DTPs, if i have only three, which is not much at all, doesn't make sense to change it to serial execution. thanks.

Hi,

DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR dump is due to tablespace issues.

Tell your basis team to increase the database space.

Also, you can release some space from your side by deleting the change log table entries where the loads are full loads, delete the PSA entries, etc.

Hope this helps...

checked with Basis, table space is fine, no table dead lock either. the data load is large though.

Hell Joe,

Did you deleted the indexes from the cube before the data load??

Also if your loads are big one??

Try to keep the data loads smaller and delete indexes from the cube before the data loads and recreate them after the loads finishes.

yes, the process chain drop cube index before large/historical loads, i have deleted the old/failed load along with dimension data as well, still failed, re-activated the cube and re-try now. thanks all quick feedback.
