How to read Infotype 0016 (Contract Element) in Payroll Schema

Hi,

We need to maintain if an employee is Officer or not. So we are using Infotype 0016 (Contract Element) to track that. The employee gets a special pay if he is an Officer. How do I read Infotype 0016 into my payroll schema?. I tried P0016, but it gave an error stating Function P0016 doesn't exist.

Is there any better place to track other than IT 16 to determine if the employee is officer or not?. Also, how do I read it in the schema?.
