ICE Online Syndication Issue

HI,

I have setup online ICE synication for KM content from one system to another.

I deleted all KM contents from the target system so that fresh copy of contents will be pushed from source system

However i see only the delta components are getting pushed to target(i mean only the new files are getting pushed) but not old files.

Can you tell me how do i fix this issue so that contents are in sync in both source and target systems?

Thanks

    Hi Deepak,

Have you tried resetting the transfer itself? I have a similar setup and occasionally it gets out of sync and I have to reset the status and copy all contents over.

Under Content Management > Content Exchange > Syndicator > Registered Subscribers > Under the Tab Subscriptions

There should be a field called "Current Status" with a reset button to the right. If you click it, it should start the transfer over from scratch. Hope this is somewhat helpful.

    Cheers,

    Richard

      Hi Deepak,

Maybe go over your config again, review your offer that you have setup. Make sure the content path is correct. Under the delivery rules and transfer volume, make sure there are no restrictions and on subscriptions make sure there is no restriction on max size.

The other option you have, is to do a transport of the current KM content and just have ICE do the deltas as is currently happening, but this is not the best solution.

I'm looking over my own config, I don't see a setting where it only says to pickup the new deltas only.

You can also turn up the debugging on the system so you can view the ICE logs in the trace files.

      Cheers,

      Richard
