Hi All,
I have a scenario where I have a Standard predelivered mapping which is linked to a standard Outbound and Inbound Interface.
Now my requriement is such that I need to add some additional fields in the Standard Inbound Interface, there fore I will also have to create a custom mapping afresh to map these Additional fields.
My question is can The standard mapping be reused in my scenario. My PI version is 7.1
Thanks
NIlesh.
you can try using the mapping if the standard mapping program is editable, editing wont cause any inconsistency to the data transfer between the original std. OB and IB MIs......or else you can COpy the Standard mapping program and then edit (if feasible)...

If you dont want to modify the original one and still use the mapping then the way which I know is Copy (right-click ---> Copy Object) the mapping with some other name and then do the change that you want....in this way the original mapping wont be disturbed and you can still use the logic used in the original mapping....

Abhishek.
