How I have to configure the SAPCAR to extract the application properly? I get the following error:

HI Antonio

Please checkwhether SAPCARfile is there in the path :/root/bin:/sapmnt/SSM/exe/SAPCAR

You can download latest SAPCAR from SMP and then use that.

Thanks and Regards

Yes, my SAPCAR file is in this path because I add it to the $PATH.

I have tried to use it manually and it works, so I don't think I need a newer version.

I suppose your SAPCAR file is /sapmnt/SSM/exe/SAPCAR ?

$PATH is a list of directories; it doesn't make any sense to add a file to $PATH.

So try with /sapmnt/SSM/exe instead of /sapmnt/SSM/exe/SAPCAR

hope this helps

Can you please add the below in Path and check?

/usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run or /sapmnt/SID/SYS/exe/run

Thanks and Regards

I solve it.

I wrote the PATH in the wrong way, because I also put the SAPCAR file.

The good way is /sapmnt/SSM/exe/ and not /sapmnt/SSM/exe/SAPCAR.

Big mistake.

Thank you
