Transport problem

hi friends,

some one has deleted the transformations of one dso in development system i have to write a routine in transformations and transport that to the production system. so i have created the transformations and did required changes to them and transported to the quality system successfully.

My problem is even though the transport request successfully reached the quality system but the transformations did notchanged i mean the routine i have writen does not showing in quality sytem. can any body tell me why the tranformations not went perfectly to the quality system even though the transport request is successfully.

If i understand correctly, i think you created a new tranformation and transporting to Quality. It may not overwrite existing one.

Try to reverse transport tranformation from Quality to Development system first and do required changes and transport & check.

hi srini and rahul,

i have created other request and transported the transformations the transport request is successful and transformations with necessary changes also transported to th equality system.

Note :- second time i have created new request and transported to quality system

But my problem is if i have to transport the transformations to the production system what are the necessary actions i have to take in order to transport the transformations sucessfully to the production ystem because if i fail in transporting them successfully it will create a lot of problems becasue the importing in to the production system is done by client persons so sending again adn agin the transport requests for the same problem they will not entertain please tell me the necessary steps i have to take.

import latest request(2nd) into Production. If all required objects available in it.

or import both requests in same sequence into production.

Hi ,

Some time these type of error occurs so the best option is to delete the old request and create a new one and collect the changes done in the transformation then transport it again.
