1. whenever the planning runs in PPDS. the procurement type is X it is generating purchase requisition. But i want the system to generate planned order always no matter what the procurement type is..... so that the user decided whether he wants to do it inhouse or externally.
There are various options in procurement type like E, F, X etc.,. Each one functions as follows.
The procurement type in the location product master is essential for Supply & Demand Propagation. By
choosing a procurement type, you prioritize the various procurement options used in propagation. The options available are:
E and no PPM: Check inventory first.
E and PPM: Check storage location first, then produce
F and no incoming transportation lanes: Check storage location first, then
create external procurement
F and incoming transportation lanes: Check storage location first, then
create stock transfer receipts
X and PPM and incoming transportation lanes: Check storage location first, then
produce, then use stock transfer receipts
Other combinations using X: Analogous to E and F.
Hence the proc type works as above.
2. the material type is pd and transferred to APO. in ecc if the PO for that material is created and sent to APO. will the ppds detailed scheduling considers the delivery date of purchase order for scheduling bottom up or the material type has to X0.
For PPDS to consider the delivery date, the material type has to be made XO.
