Number ranges to Products

Hi Friends,

In CRM 2007 version can you please tell me where we do the number range assignment to products. Maintaining number range for products comes under IMG activity or is it an end user activitu on UI. Please guide me where we do this.

Where we maintain the Partner product range records? Help shows While creating a transaction system checks whether the partner product range is maintained and based on that it shows us information. But where do we maintain the records for partner product range. If you can explain about partner product range configuration in detail that would be really helpful.

I gone through the help and it shows the structure of partner product range that iy has header & Item data but i did not know where we maintain this data.
