One time customer

Hai Guys,

This is regarding one time customer. I had created an one time customer, made the fields - City and telephone as mandatory as per client's requirement.

When we make a sales order, the system pops up the form to be filled, in that these fields are not mandatory. Where does the system pick that form whose header reads as "Address from Master Data for Sold-To-Party (Document Header)"?

Where I have to make settings to make the fields in that Address as mandatory?

regards,

Maheshwaran. I

Hai,

I tried what you suggested by copying a std sold-to-party, made the needed fields as manadatory, and assigned it as the reference group in the customer master.

Still when I make a SO, in the pop up field ONLY city and the country fields are mandatory. Which means that the system is fetching the 'properties' from somewhere else than the a/c groups settings.

Lets find out from where it is being called.

Hey do tell your ABAP consultant to check the settings. Do a diagnostic test for any errors.

In the account group CPD (One time with internal number assignment), General Data, Address tab - I had made the fields - Name, Postal Code City and in the Communications tab - made the telephone, fax fields as mandatory.

While creating a customer master for one time customer, these mandatory fields are needed to be filled. In the reference group, assigned the account group - CPD also.

But when I call the same customer in the Sales Order, only Name and City are appearing as mandatory field. That too I am sure not because of the changes I had made.

After reading this i believe you have assigned CPD as reference, but i guess you have to assign some other account group say Copy of sold to party or sold to party account group ( copy sold to party account group if you do not want the changes to affect SP), and then made the fields in reference account group as mandatory. i,e ( the sold to party or copy of sold to party).

Try this, hope it will help.

I did that... but the same is not reflecting in the 'Pop Up' that opens when we enter the One time customer in the Sales Area

Hi There,

Did you provide the reference account group while creating one time customer?

This is what SAP help says.....

You can specify a reference account group in the Control group in the general data area. This account group determines the > status of fields when posting to the one-time account, that is, what fields are displayed and which ones require an entry.

Try this and give feedback. I dont have access to SAP as of now so can not confirm.

Thanks,

HI There,

You have to make changes in customer account group.Go to T-Code OBD2. select the one time account group, then double click the general data, there you can make changes accordingly.

Thanks,
