List object to XXL export to Excel Missing Columns

Former Member

Hi All,

Export list object to XXL

message:

An XXL list object is exported with 18 lines and 14 columns

Choose a processing mode:

-Table

-Pivot table

I Selected Table and downloaded the file . The problem is that i have 16 columns in my ALV GRID Display.

I'm missing 2 columns in Excel file

I found this by searching SDN, but its not clear

that there is special letter in the columns name in our ALV

sample: <10, >10 ....

if the ALV has that special name the exporting to Excel will be incorrect result but if the ALV don't have that columns, it works fine.

that might be some idea for your problem also

Does anyone have similar problem

Thanks

David

Hi ,

I found solution be Searching SDN

Untill you do this the FM wont know which internal table is getting displayed, when it does not find anythinG , it defaults it to 1. thats why it works.

Make Sure the field catalog fieldcat-tabname = '1'.

You can see it in debugging mode.

Thanks

David
