How to Cancel Manhours, after they have been approved & settled

Hi Everyone,

I would like to Know how to Cancel Times in CATS, after they have been approved, and already settled to cost center and AUC.

First of all, In the Configuration, it has already been set up that, Times cannot be cancelled, after they have been approved.

Now, My manager wants to cancel his times posted way back in march, both in CAT2, and undo the settlements.

Questions, (Without going for config change, to the data entry profile)

1. How to undo the times in CAT2?

2. How to undo settlement to Cost Center, and AUC.?

Have you finally settled AUC as well to asset?

If not, are you using CAT2- CATS_APPR_ELITE- CAT5, in case this I feel you do not need reverse the settlement, rather after CAT5, there would a controlling document created, just create a reverse posting (manual adjustment posting) of that with reference to present period and run the settlement with reference to the present period and to the appropriate receiver where it is flow ( whether to cost center or AUC).

So, in this case amount will be amount will be adjusted.

Settlements have already been done to AUC, but not Fixed assets yet.

Hi,

it is ok, there would be a CO document created with respect to the CAT5/ CATA posting, so make an adjustment posting to reverse the value of that CO document with reference to the same CO object (WBS element) in Present period and then when ever you run next settlement to AUC with reference to that object, system will nullify the impact that CAT5 entry to the total value of AUC in that period.

HI ,

Reverse the settlement for that particular period and do manual reposting of the CO doc amount.

Then do the settlement to AUC.
