Infotype 77 configuration- help needed

Infotype 77 change:

A) If the Business user selects Hispanic/Latino in the Ethinicity option ( she will not select the Race data )

Veteran Status

If he/she doesnu2019t select any veteran data, the system defaults to Non-Veteran now. The requirement is the system should pop-up a message if veteran data is not entered and it is mandatory to enter Veteran status ( no system defaults are allowed)

B) If the Business user selects Non Hispanic Latino in the Ethinicity option and doesnu2019t select any Race in the Race data it defaults to white currently . The requirement is the system should pop-up a message saying Race data is mandatory ( The system shouldnu2019t default to white)

Please can anybody help in configuring the above situations.

Hi Janet,

There are 2 ways you can do this.

1> You can create dynamic actions to produce error before saving.

2> If you know ABAP, you can add it to the user exit.
