complex BI structure not displayed correct

Hello Expert,

I am using the latest Portal Version.

I want to realize some VC Dashboards. Unfortunately - like mentioned in note 936768 - complex structures are not supported. I cannot believe that this true ?

Does anybody know - how long this note is valid ?

I am not able to work with the missing fields at all. But when running the model - all fields are appering.

But in design board they are missing and I cannot model anything like creating a chart.

Hi

Check one thing, If your structure consists of 'Key Figures' & if it is in 'Rows' (In BI Query) then you will not get it in the charts. You can not use it as Data Series. For this you can drag it to columns & whatever is there in columns drag it to rows.VC will consider the key field as 'Data series' only if the key figure is in columns.

As you said correctly you can see it in query definition but you will not get it in charts.

Hi,

if you want to use comples structures in your dataservices then move to VC7.1 EHP1 It will support all the complex structures.
