not consideration of production order during mrp run

Dear Gurus

Is there any way so that the system will not consider the released production orders or partially delivered production orders which are there in the system without any requirement to be not considered for next planning run i.e the system should generate fresh planned orders for fresh requirements and will not consider the previously generated production order that has no requirement during the time of running mrp

Hi,

Not sure why you would want to not consider existing production orders which are in excess. Anyways if it is a specific need, then go to OMDW click on plant, then for your plant you can uncheck production orders.

But be careful, this will impact for all materials & not just for that specific material.

However if you can let us know the business need for not wanting to consider the production order which are in excess, then maybe the forum members can provide with a better alternative.

Dear Vivek

What you told is working for reshedule in i.e if any requirement (sales order in our case ) is generated before the production order date then that production order is not fulfilling the said sales order requirement but I want the opposite i.e if sales order date is after the production order date then that production order should not fulfill the sales order requirement is it possible ? Please tell me a way

Hi,

Deactiving Production order in OMDW is a right solution. It will work for before & after sale order creation.

Change the resheduling horizon to 0 days, so that you can find the requirement generation for new sale order.

Hi,

What you notice is a std SAP behavior. Maybe you can go for a Z development, discuss your requirements with your abaper to achieve your need.

Anyways your posting does not provide any info as to why you want such a thing, so i cant be of much help.

dear Sandip,

if you want there should be always fresh production order for all new sales order , then its a simple MTO, where exactly you had problem.

Excess production order without requirement are only possible in case of MTS, where you plan your PIR's which are associated with orders and sales order consumes PIR's , youb had many option available here to check in ATP , like consumtion modes back ward fwd etc , you can opt for only forwqrd consumption and your sales order will consume only the PIRs which are in future date compare to sales oder date.

Check and rvert back.

hope it helps you.

Hi

Once you convert the planned order to production order MRP will not consider for planning run.

Which not consider for MRP run

1. Production order

2. Firmed Planned Order

3. Planned order within the planning time fence.

Thanks
