payment terms issue

Repsected Gururs,

i have some issues regarding to payment term,

1i have defined payment terms in vendor master record,but i want to change payment terms,how

2 in g/l master record you have forgotten to click that check box,when u want to see the line item itsnot appearing,afetr correction can u see that specified lineitem.

For posted vendor documents, payment term can be changed via transactions such as FB02, FB09 & FBL1N.

Hi

For your first question, Where you want to change the payment terms. You can change in the vendor master, PO, MIRO but not in the documents already posted.

For your second question, Which version of SAP you are into. If it is prior to ECC 6.0 you will be able to view the line item wise details only from the day it was changed. If it is in ECC 6.0, then you can use transaction code FAGL_Activate_IT and you can bring all the items to line item display.

Hi,

To display line items

Change in the Line Item Display -

Please follow bellow Clarification.....

1.First goto FS00 and select line item display checkbox...

2.Then Goto menu GL account -->Block and select 4 check boxes (Blocked for creation, posting, planning & posting)...

3.Open SA38 Transaction code give program name RFSEPA01 and execute..

Give company code and gl account number......

4. After completion of SA38 then got fs00 and deselect all check boxes..

1. You change the payment terms in XK02, I do not see any issue in this. Can you please clarify what is your exact requirement.

2.

There is a possibility that you have activate line item display for some of the accounts at a later stage. Meaning that earlier postings were not be shown for the earlier postings but only totals will be made available. Therefore, obviously there is bound to be difference between line item report and totals report.

You need to identify which accounts are being changed with line item display at a later stage.

In case if you forget to keep GL Line item display for an account, but the posting are already made the following steps you would required to get the line item display retrospectively.

1. Note that you are NOT required to make the balance of that GL account to ZERO. Please do not confuse with Open Item Management.

2. Put the check box line item display for the account in FS00. Make sure you are entering right company code.

3. Block the account for posting in COA Segment and Company Code Segment in FS00

4. Go to SA38 and run program RFSEPA01 (Give correct GL Account and Company Code)

5. Now, remove the block you kept on the GL Account in FS00.

This will reset the line item display retrospectively.

Hope this will solve your problem.
