Hi Experts

I am getting an error with sproxy while executing in 2 executions.

1) SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS

2) SPROXY_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE

for error 2 it says: Enterprise Services Builder data not understood

I have manually created an rfc SAP_PROXY_ESR with all relevent data given.

The rfc connection is OK.

But still i am getting the error in sproxy.

Regards

Pooja

Hi,

Maintain one G type RFC destination pointing the resepctive XI server.

In the G tpye RFC destination give the Ip adress of the XI server in the target

host and set the path prefix as /rep.

Goto SPROXY->Goto->connection test-> click on the table SPROXSET.

In this table maintain enteries for ADDRESS_ONLY_FROM_SPROXSET and IFR_HTTP_DEST

The values corresponding to these enteries will be the G tpye RFC destination.

Hi Pooja,

If the reports throw an error there is definitely a problem. I would suggest you to go through the guide How to Debug XI Applications : https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b0dec9f5-e9a0-2b10-c1a8-e355d01a...

Hi,

1) Check the transaction SXMB_ADM for corresponding Integration server: dest://<your_sm59_http_destination>

2) Ensure that the RFC destinations LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI are maintained and working.

3) Run SLDCHECK to verify that the connection to the System Landscape Directory works.

4) Check that the Enterprise Services Repository is running.

Hi Pooja,

When you run SPROXY, then is it showing 'No connection to ESR' or is it showing your XI server host and port?

if it is showing XI server host, then i think you can execute your Proxy scenario from R/3 to XI........

but if it is showing No connection to ESR, then in R/3 system run transaction SLDCHECK and see if SLDCHECK is throwing any error.............moreover in SXMB_ADM, your r/3 system role should be a business sytem and corresponding integration server should be a HTTP connection to your XI server.
