Can't save variant in Reports launchpad

I tried to save a variant in a Reports launchpad iview from the setting menu. But the new setting is not saved. Other setting like change the order of transaction was saved.

Did I need to give a portal user a special autorization to save a variant in Reports launchpad iview or this a bug (I could not find a note about this problem) ?

I read the note. It is not looks relavant to our problem. I want to run a ecc6 report like ksb1 and used a variant that I used in ecc sap gui.

I choose this variant from the list in "change setting" (ecc variant that saved for this report) and saved it without any warning in that option..

When I tried to run this report from the portal, I found out that this variant was not saved at all.

FYI ... OSSN # 1756134 seems to resolve my issue above.

Scratch that ... they issue is NOT resolved with the note...

Please check note:

Note 853505 - saving variants from the web (as well as other common features) is currently an "Open Limitation."
