What is the best place to put local integration files in Linux? I suppose they would be under /var directory or would it be better to create a new root directory like /integration. Do you have any ideas?

Hello, normally your integration files will need to be located in a folder where you will have to export it somewhere else.

My suggestion is, nowadays many storage cabins can export via NFS, it would be a good approach talk to storage team if they could create an NFS called /integration and mount it in your PI server, and also in your ECC / BI or whatever system you need that.

Even better, some of those cabins have multiprotocol share, meaning that this NFS share can also become a SMB share for windows platforms so they can mount the filesystem as it comes from other windows.

If that is not possible, create a share in your PI enviroemnt as /integration and use NFS export, but cabin option is much more desirable based on my experience.
