Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to reexplode fixed SNP planned orders in order to consider BOM changes in the PDS's. I am trying to find out a similar behaviour in SNP than in PP/DS, where it exists SAP_PP_021 (New explosion) to do so.
I have also tried to re-CIF planned orders using CFM2 and also RIMODINI, but components are not getting updated for SNP orders
Of course...I have CIFed PDS's again after BOM changes...
Any solution?
Thanks,
Raü
Hi Raul,
As per SAP standard delivered system, once the SNP planned orders are firmed, it is a confirmation to its connected module/systems that the order cannot be further planned and the order is ready for execution.
So, if rexploding the SNP planned orders is required as a requirement, customising in modification to be done using SAP_PP_021 as a base heuristic to develop the customisation.

Hi Raul,
The ideal practise is that as and when any bom changes occur in system, the corresponding PPM/PDS data/planned orders/production orders needs to be cleaned for the existing products and then
reciffing to be done.
This will ensure 100% updation. Without cleaning the objects, reciffing will not help because there will be some firmed and attached orders against the PPM/PDS.
Hence, clean up the current orders/PDS and recif it and then take a fresh planning run which will give the correct output.
