Optimiser Trace file

Hi Experts,

We are working on SCM 5.0. I have a query about the trace file located in optimiser log. Optimiser log trace file doesnot show the product locaitons which were analysed during each subproblem / iteration.

Can you pls tell me the setting which I need to maintain so that the trace file will display the product locations considered in each iteration?

But those informations are available inside the optimiser log .

You can collect it from there.

Hi,

Optimizer log will show you the whole set of product-locations taken into consideration by the run. Trace file shows you the product-locations which were considered by each subproblem / iteration. I am looking for those subgroups.

Hi Abhishek,

I dont think you can maintain such kind of setting through standard application. But you can try using 'product decomposition'/ 'location decomposition' but I think it is also not going to be automatic, you have to control the output log.

I have sen trace files for some other clients which include product - locations against each subgroup.

This is very much possible.

I don't know how.

We are using product decomposition at 1% window.
