MIRO doubling Amounts on account posting

Hello Team,

Appreciateg your time for looking at this.

My issue is that, I am doing a Subsequent debit. The details are as shown below in screnshots 1 & 2. I have select all the items, the amount is entered in the Unplanned Delivery Costs in the Details Tab, and finally in the G/L Account Tab I debit and credit the same account with the invoice amount.

Screenshot 1:

Screenshot 2:

The system generates 2 accounting documents as you can see in screenshots 3 & 4, were the second document is revaluation.

Screenshot 3:

Screenshot 4:

My question is, why is the cost splitted on the items with the double amount of the invoice amount? The Invoice amount is 47310 LBP. If I post the document without entering something int the G/L tab, there isn't any problem, but if i add the entries in the G/L tab then if you sum the amount splitted to the items it equals to 94620 LBP. I know that whatever you enter in the G/L tab, the related accounts are posted but the amount to be posted on the items if you sum it it should sum to the invoice amount and not to the invoice amount + whatever is in the g/l tab.

Additional information is that the related PO has delivery conditions on the header.

Thank you,

Hi Orestis,

1- It doesn't make sense posting to the same account with debit and credit. (G/L Account)

2- 1 Logistics Invoice -> 1 FI Document. You have 2 documents with different posting dates

Check the conditions of the PO, if there are no Custom development (User Exit / BADI) and similar documents to this to analyze.

kind regards

Hi,

I agree that it doesn't make any sense but this a requirement that the want for there reporting due to local legislation. Now what they do on the system until we find a solution is that they are doing a manual FI entry that debit and credit the same amount and link it with the PO. The required result would be the following:

So this posting is done from MIRO, but on the PO i didn't entered any unplanned delivery costs conditions.

Thank you,
