(bulk) delete datasource

Hi,

We are cleaning up our BW system en deleting obsolote (3.X) datasources.

When I delete in our development system, everything (dependant stuff also, which is fine) gets deleted.

After transporting it to the production system, everything is also deleted over there EXCEPT the datasource itself. How can I get this datasource deleted and is there a way to delete datasources in bulk.

Hi Eddy,

You deleted the dataSources on the source side (not on the BW side), right ?

if yes, I'm just wondering if a replication at the system source level can help you.

No, they are deleted on the BW side.

[FCI]

You have to delete them on the source side and then replicate. DataSources on the BW side are never transported. They are transported in the source systems and then generated on the BW Side when the replication occurs.
