Dear Gurus,

After giving the required inputs in MB1A / MB1B / MB1C, I'm not getting the material description field.

My client requirement is to get the Material Code along with material description.

What are the settings I need to make ?.

Hi

No need to do any settings for that , once you enter the material just press enter in the next screen the description will come with material number.

Hi Murali,

I'm not getting the material description beside material code.

As the client users are not familiar with the material codes, they need to finalise postings based on material descriptions.

Hi Ram,

Do one thing , check your abaper to customize this t.code with add the field material discription after the material code.

Its a easy one for tech people

Then better use MIGO transaction, i think it is more user friendly other then MB1A / MB1B / MB1C.

In the MIGO you will get both material and description together.

hi,

In MB1c as soon as u give the mvmnt type,plant and strge loc after whihc in the second screen once u enter qty and press enter nad if u click magnifying glass u cld find description beside thematerial

HI,

After Mb1a/mb1b/mb1c u will get document Number ,so try by using T-Code MB03 with referece to that document number i hope you will get the Materila Description with Material Number.

Try this anyway lets wait for an our experts reply also.
