Hi Ankur

I believe you will have a challenge in obtaining work as a FICO consultant without any Finance knowledge. The courses will teach you how to configure modules but without a Finance/Accounting background you may not understand the business requirement is to complete configuration, troubleshoot or provide advise to your customer or business

An IT background can lend itself to

  • Systems Administration (Basis)
  • Security
  • Developer (ABAP or SAPUI5/HTML or Java)
  • Business Warehouse/Data (SAP BW, BOBJ)

With that you can then look at the technical aspects of the HANA platform.

It will really come down to what your IT experience is currently, your interest and your aptitute

Please note that SAP is a difficult area to get your foot in the door. Training and Certification alone will not always make it possible. Do you best to leverage your existing work skills and find a way in. You might want to consider seeking IT general work in a company that uses SAP and then try to transfer into the area if possible.

Good luck
