Process Chain getting scheduled immediately after transport

Former Member

Hi All,

I have successfully created a process chain and transported it from Dev to Quality. The problem is that the process chain is getting activated and scheduled immediately after transport in the quality system. How do i disable this option.

So what I want to achieve is it just to transport the process chain from Dev to Quality and not make it get scheduled automatically.

Thanks for your help.

Sunil.

Hi Sunil,

Please also refer to the SAP Note 1233327 if it is relevant to your installation.

Kind Regards,

Hi everyone,

Though we implied note 1233327 at our site, processchains are immediately scheduled after transport again since we applied support package 20 for BW. Is there anyone who has experienced the same and already has a solution for this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Gust Faes

Hi There,

Try this,

In Quality System, in Administrative Workbench, Click on Transport Connection at left side.

There you can see option "Object Changeability" at right side on top, Click on that.

New pop up window will be opened, there you can see setting for process chain,

Just Right click on process chain option and change as you require.

So process chain, we can change in the Quality and production system without opening the client.

In order to stop Process Chains from being scheduled immediately upon import, insert the following into the RSADMIN table with ABAP program SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN:

Object = NO_TP_SCHEDULE_IMMEDIATE

Value = X

Hi Sunil,

You have to either run the program SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN

Object = NO_TP_SCHEDULE_IMMEDIATE

Value = X in target system like quality/production where you are importing or you would have to change the schedule of the start process type in the process chain(schedule other than immediate) before transport.

You can change the schedule of the process chain from immediate to other schedule before transport if you are allowed by authorizaton to change the schedule again in quality or production.

Hope this helps,

Best regards,

Sunmit.
