Not seeing changes after transport

Dear Experts:

I currently have an issue where a transport was imported into our QAS system and myself along with another colleague were able to verify these changes in the system (it was a configuration change in SPRO - display IMG).

However, several of my colleagues logged on to the same QAS system but were not seeing the updated configuration changes in IMG. In fact, they were still seeing the old settings prior to the transport being imported.

As I could see these changes in the system, I could verify that the transport did indeed import successfully, but my question is why my other colleagues cannot see this configuration change. It appears as though there is a cache somewhere and my colleagues are hitting this cache containing old data.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue before? I have heard there was a transaction code to refresh the cache, but not sure if such a thing existed.

Thank you for all your insights!

Hi all,

In consulting with a colleague, it appears there was a discrepancy in one of the transports and they are working to re-import.

Still, I appreciate the advice and learned something new from this thread. Points awarded to everyone and thanks very much for all the input.

Hi,

I dont think its an issue with Sync .. .. /$sync Synchronize instances buffers and if some usrs can see the cnages means its not releaetd to instance buffers. Until u have no of application servers and the guys login on perticualr application server faces this issue.

Or do you find any other similar pattern thoses who are not able to see the changes .. means from any specific group or module ...

Please put some more details about the transport logs too weather it was successful and do you have selected overwrite orginals while importing?
