Changing of Class type from 022 to 023

Hi All,

Earlier we are using the Batch Class as "022" for all the Materials in the plant.

Now we have activated the class type "023" in SPRO and assigned to materials.

Now when we try to execute any Inventory related Transaction it is giving me error message that "Class type is not active".

Still we have the Two batch for 022 type in the stocku2026may be this is the issue.

Any SAP note is available for this classification consistency error.

Please suggest,

Regards,

Shailendra

Shailendra,

You should have cleared all the existing stock before changing and activating the new class 023.

Again change it back to 022 and clear the stock and then change it to new.

try it out and reply.

Hope it helps you.

I have not used change numbers.

I have deleted all the entries of 022 class Type from the Batch Tables

I am not finding any batch havinh that status.

Or Batch Classified.

I am getting error message that Class type is not active in Mb1C T code.
