SAP Solution Manager 7.2 data collector ownership check failed in DBA Cockpit

Dear Experts,

at the moment i try to add our gateway servers to the managed Systems. In Step 7 of the configuration from the managed System one error at the Databaseextractor Setup occurs with following error description: "Datacollector owner check failed" "The Databaseuser should be equal to the Databaseconnectionuser". But we wont to use sapsa as Monitoringuser. So I created an user and assign him 2 Roles: sap_mon and sap_adm. The sap_adm Role contains the sa_role, so the monitoring user should be an Systemadministrator.

The SAP-Note 1658061 is 6 years old and I its not possibel to implement that SAP-Note. I also found this SAP-Note 1972114 but its to old as well.

Something that confuse me, on the bottom of the DBA Cockpit (both in Remote from Solman and Local from Gateway) I got follwowing message :

"Current System <SID> does not own Collectors of B#0."

So who is the owner from the Collectors and how can I change them to the monitoring user?

Software Release Information:

  • SolMan 7.2 SP07, SAP Basis 740 SP18

  • Gateway-Server: SAP Basis 752 SP01

  • Sybase ASE 16.0 SP03

Best regards

Marlon
