Dear All,
We have activated automatic Dynamic availability check in our system.
As soon as I create maintenance order based on the planned delivery time if there is an insufficient stock during release, system will prompt me an message saying Material shortage for order u2018XXXXXXXu2019 and will display three option
1. Release Order
2. Missing Part List
3. Cancel
When I click the missing part list it will display Material number, plant, ATP quantity, ATP/avail.qty, Conf/Allocated qty, Cumulated ATP qty(Bun), Cumulated ATP quantity
My question here is
I have a material u2018Testu2019 with 10 number stock in unrestricted use.
I have 2 orders generated with reservation of 5 numbers(within the planned delivery days 30)
I have issued 2 numbers already for one order against reservation
Now I have total stock 8 and reservation 3
When I am creating a 3rd order with requirement quantity of 6 number and during release it gives me missing part list with all the quantity(ATP quantity, ATP/avail.qty, Conf/Allocated qty, Cumulated ATP qty(Bun), Cumulated ATP quantity) as 5 each for all the column
I am confused with the system behaviour for these column how it is displayed
could you guys please explain on the scenario? is anything going wrong or working correctly ?
If anything missed what needs to be activated for this?
Regards
Senthil
Hello
Component is showing in shortage list because of "Availability : Scope Check".
In this Scope check for plant and order type please check
IN/Out Movement screen : Include reservation indicator must be Flagged.
Due to this during avavilability check it consider reservation quantity and give message of " Material Shortage"

Sanjeev

Hi Senthil,
What I can understand from your scenario is for 2 orders you have reservation for 5 no form the stock of 10 no.
You have issued 2 out of 5.
Now you have in stock 8 out which 3 are reserved for the 1st 2 orders. so your actual available quantity is 5 not 8 as 3 are reserved against the 1st 2 orders.
Now If you give requirement quantity 6 for the 3rd order the system will give missing part error.
Hope this will clear you confusion.

Whatever you guys have told i am clear.
My question is when the missing part list is generated the value / quanity which is updated for column
ATP quantity - 5,
ATP/avail.qty - 5,
Conf/Allocated qty - 5 ,
Cumulated ATP qty(Bun) - 5,
Cumulated ATP quantity - 5
is 5 , how do these values being genarated 5 against each column?
