Hi,
A customer would like to find out if there a timetable for SAC downtime and maintenance appointments. this would be beneficial for regular updates, in case the cloud is not available anymore for whatever reason etc.
I did a search and was unable to find this information.
Kindly check and get back to me ASAP.
Hi,
as well as the (notification subscription) website that Tammy points out, i use the Cloud Trust Center which has all the info you need to direct your customer https://www.sap.com/about/cloud-trust-center/cloud-service-status.html#sap-cloud-platform-integratio...
Analytics Cloud is effectively a service which leverages Cloud Platform Integration, so for example, there was a ‘partial service disruption’ yesterday in the German datacentre which means some users may have no access to one or more services.
all the regular maintenance schedules are timetabled there too.
Regards, H

Susan - for planned downtime, I usually receive an email from the SAP Analytics Cloud team.
Please note that there could be unexpected downtime as SAP Analytics Cloud runs on the SAP Cloud Platform - you can always check the status here: https://sapcp.statuspage.io/

Are you serious? There is no entry for SAC on the Status Pages you mentioned. I would have expected one for the SAP Analytics Cloud to get the downtimes that do not have to do anything with CP, but only with SAC. I also do not understand why there is no alert in advance available. We only get notifications afterwards - but that's not really helpful...
Are there other possibilities?

Yes i am serious. SAC is built on SCP services, and that's where we're represented. hopefully it'll change in future to be more granular but i've not seen any appetite for that adrian.westmoreland any inputs here?
Note sure i quite follow your second point: we don't have predictive/proactive notifications for something that hasn't happened yet; but if you're a SAC system owner you get notifications, and additional people (interested parties) can be added to receive the same.

The system owner notifications are good.
Thanks for that hint!
Kind regards, Klaus
