Hi Experts,
how to maintain 2 different Reconciliation Account in General Ledger for one wendor.
and after that we we do MIRO how to select the different account.
is there any configuration is required.

I don't think there is way to have 2 different reconciliation accounts for a single vendor. Easiest solution is to create duplicate vendors, if this is not acceptable, you can think of custom fields or new validations etc.

try to use the functionality provided by in Financial Accounting (New)->Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable->Business Transactions->Postings with Alternative Reconciliation Account->Define Alternative Reconciliation Accounts or Other Special G/L Transactions->Define Alternative Reconciliation Account for Vendors.
I have never tried by check whether u can use to solve u r issue.

can u suggest me is there any another way to solve this proble,.
they want to maintain a different account for fixed assets and service. for one vendor.

Hi
It is not possible to have two reconciliation account in the vendor master and selection at the time of MIRO. Alternate reconciliation account is not for this purpose. It is for creating and using special GL indicator's for accounting of Advance payments and Bills of exchange with reference to Vendors.
If you want you can change the reconciliation account in the vendor master before posting the entry in MIRO.

Alternative reconciliation account
By making use of an additional (alternative) reconciliation account, you can exclude certain postings from being subject to the credit management update. Proceed by first defining this account in Customizing for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and then setting the indicator Recon. acct ready for input in the G/L account master record.
This function is used in Japan, where various "safe" receivables often need to be excluded from the credit management update. "Safe" receivables include prepayments and accrued income, and payment by letters of credit.
