SAP MDG-F G/L account

Hello Experts,

I am trying to create a G/L account from MDG UI, and my landscape is operational ECC, so before creating any G/L account from MDG when I searched no result were displayed so this is a fresh system having no data.

After entering all the necessary data, I am facing the error message as "Account INT/88: A master record with value AS does not exist for attribute Account Group".

• If you have unintentionally entered value AS, correct your entry.
• If you want to use value AS, you must first create a corresponding master record.

--- However on checking in SKA1 there are entries existing for INT and AS combination.

Can you please let me know if I need to done anything else. One observation which I have is as MDG-F is based on Flex, so before creating first G/L account we have to upload some values..Is this correct or can we create first record directly?

Prateek,

You will have to make sure when you start using MDG-F on a live system, that you have loaded all the existing GL Accounts (both CoA and CC data) from ECC into MDG. This is a one time manual activity to ensure that MDG system is in sync with ECC GL Accounts.

You can search the forum for steps on extracting and loading finance master data from ECC to MDG.
