Change of Relationship IN MSS

Hi All,

Most of the times client is asking that they have managers for whom they can not maintaine the relation ship A012 i.e. head of org unit.

But they can maintain some other relation ship like A002.

I am not sure about the full customization of this but i know that this can be done through MSS->Object and data providers

But i want know the details steps.

Please help me in this.

You can use report report RHSTRU00, to check your own path

Hi Siddharth,

I have changed the my Evaluation path and tested those using the report RHSTRU00 now they are giving me the expected results.

But still I am not able to see the employee data in MSS.

Is there some thing else I am missing in OADP?

hi all,

our requiremnt is to hide org units that appear in the tree structure on the ECM portal Iviews.

they are hidden if the org units do not have A012 (heads)

i tried to implemnt the BADI hrwpc_nav_objs...but the system throws a dump,

also tried to attach a fm behind the rule for navgn path...again the system throws a dump

how is this done?

any ideas?

If you are able to see the Drop Down correctly in the MSS and able to see the Employees using the above report then this should be it

Can you again verify the Organisation Management settings for the pernr?

Thanks for your reply.

I will explain once again my steps,

Employee is assigned to a position and org unit.

Managers is also in the same org unit and to a different position

Relation between the employee position and manager position is maintained using A002.

Step 1) I created 3 eval paths.

1) For Root objects.

10 * B 008 Holder * S

2) For Navigation Objects

10 S B 002 Is line supervisor of * S

3) For target Objects

30 S A 008 Holder * P

I know that i can directly specify these realtionships into define rule for object selection.

Step 2) Then i created 3 Object selection rule.

z_root

z_nav

z_tar

Stpe 3) Define Object Selection

z_obj_sel - here i specified the 3 obj selection rules created in step 2.

Step 4) Define organizational Structure Views.

Z_ORG_VIEW - here i have mentioned the created Object Selection and group of Data Views MSS_ECM_SEL

Step 5) Group organizational Structure Views.

i am assigning my own Org View in MSS_TMV_EE.

Results.

I am able to see one additional line in the drop down and i am getting no data found.

Please tell me what I am missing.

Hi All,

Thanks for all your suggestions.

I changed the evaluation path and now i am able to see the or structure in MSS.

Function module HRWPC_OADP_TEST helped me alot.

Please tell me till which step you have reached. I have already mentioned the steps earlier if you can elaborate till what point you have reached then i will be able to help out.

Please first create the evaluation paths as per your requirement.

Hello Umesh,

I have same problem as you have it, with evaluation path. I have created 2 evaluation paths (root and target). Customizing is done and I can see new line in drop down menu in Team View in MSS and evaluation paths are working through report on back-end system but I don't get employees in MSS.

Can you please tell me, which evaluation paths have you created?

Hi,

I can explain you from SAP R/3.

1st go to PA30 and give the PERNR no then select infotype 0001-Organisation Assignment .

then display ....

On the -Organisation Assignment Screen you can see the Org. Unit ....just copy that Org. Unit No.

Then goto "PO10" T-code give the copied Org. Unit No. select the "Relationships" then click up on "Overview" and you can see the entry for "A 002" Reports (line) to .

In the same T-code you can change the entry from "A012" to "A 002".

Well Vivek,

I think i have not explined the question properlly.

In case of MSS you need to Head of the Org Unit i.e. Relationship (A012). Then only you are able to see the employees reporting to you.

But in case I want to change this relation ship what all things needs to done that i want to know.

Hi Suresh,

Badi HRWPC_MOD_NAVOBJECTS is only to change the text of the object.

By doing the customization of Evaluation paths, Object provider and and organizational Structures,

Now I am able to see my own path in employee selection dropdown of Genral Information.

But I am not able to see any employee when i select my own criterion from drop down.

Don't you need to create a custom function module for your eval path & point it in the OADP?

Hi Suresh,

As far as i have seen the standard entries in the node Object Selection there you either need to specify the evaluation path or the function module.

In my case i am have defined the evaluation path.

the evaluation paths i have defined are.

for root Objects

10 * B 008 Holder * S

20 S A 002 Reports (line) to * S

for Targer Objects

10 * B 008 Holder * S

20 S B 002 Is line supervisor of * S

30 S A 008 Holder * P
