Want to generate DME File containing Header & Body Portion

Hi Every One,

Good Day!

I have a query related to extracting the Flat file for APP from DME. I have done the whole configuration and able to Generate the DME file also from SAP.

As of now system extract the whole Data in one line where as my requirement is some data should be printed on the header part and some of them should be printed in the Body.

For Example:

In Header

Company Code

ECS Code

Sort ID

Company Name

Total Amount

In Body

Sort Code

Vendor Code

Bank Key

Vendor Bank Account No.

Vendor Name

Please guide me in doing the above setup.

How you have structured the DME file? Is this DME structure standard or you have prepared on your own. If you are not much familiar, then try to copy any one of the standard DME structure then make amending them.

GB_BACS structure will have header, transactions and trailer. But, this is only for BACS payment in GB. Likewise, see if there any stadanard local DME structres available.

    • Hi Ravi,

      Thanks for the promt reply.

The Only chage I have done in my new DME after copying it from GA_BACS is that I have removed some of the node which I dont want in my file.

Yes I am able to generate the file after executing the F110.

Don't know which setting I am missing.
