SCP My Inbox App Substitute maintenance

Hi Experts,

I am looking SAP cloud platform workflow and I have a question. When we go to workflow service, we can access three Fiori apps. My Inbox, Monitor workflows- create definition and Monitor workflow - Create instance. I am wondering if there is a way to create substitutes for a user in My Inbox App?

Hello, for now SAP Cloud Platform Workflow does not support Substitution. This is on our roadmap, but as of today I cannot give you exact estimate when Substitution will be implemented.

You can easily implement similar behavior as part of your application, in which you use Business Rules (or call a service on your side) to retrieve the task recipients dynamically. For already created tasks we have APIs to change the task recipients and owner after creation. Please check Workflow APIs documentation -> User task Instances -> PATCH for complete endpoint description.

I like to know the upcoming feature in SCP Workflow Service. where to find the SCP workflow service roadmap?
