Is Stack configuration XML file needed for EHP4 installaton on ERP 6.0 SR2,THE GUIDE SAYS IT IS OPTONAL

is it?

Note 1143022 - Installation of SAP Enhancement Package 4 on SAP ERP 6.0

says, that the Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer should be used to generate the stack file to avoid any problems.

Hi Rohit,

Use Note "1134872 - Maintenance Optimizer: FAQ for Stack Delta Files" to configure solamn for generating the xml file.

You may have to apply some notes to your solman system depending upon the SP level.

Hi Rohit,

If guide says it is optional then fine not a prob it is optional. You dont have to worry. Jut follow the inst doc.
