Hi All,
We are experiencing a issue where an specific batch is been created in lower case.
Batch Number - gb123 is created in system from a Incoming I-doc and records are seen in MCHA and MCH1 Table now. ( PO GR Processing Cycle)
In later stage , stock which was seen in lower case is been consumed using 702 Type.
New batch with CAPS and also stock is been added in system using 701 Movement.
But , the issue is now there are two Batches seen in MCHA & MCH1 table. One with Lower and other CAPS ( gb123 & GB123 ). There is no stock in system now all are been consumed in coming transactions , but the lower batch is creating some problem in APO and BW.
Can you please let me know how do we correct the lower batch in system.
Hi Rosh,
Yes , lower batch is no longer needed as we have same batch with upper case in system.
I believe we need to use SARA Transaction , Archiving Object - MM_SPSTOCK , Action - Write needs to be executed to archieve the lower case batch from MCHA and MCH1 tables.
Let me know if we have any steps or transaction or any other better way to fix this issue.

In standard, conversion of batch created in lower case to Upper case is not possible. If lower case batch record is no longer required, better archive using object MM_SPSTOCK.
