Hi,

We upgraded our EP 7.0 from stack level SP13 toSP14.

Now the problem is that when i log off it gives the error of Object Required of java script in left side of status bar.

What could be the reason for this.

Regards,

Priya

Hi,

you are using a customized masthead. InSP14 SAP changed some Javascript and therefor, the "object" your are colling in your logoff() function is missing. You'll have to comment out this JS call in your masthead. Check the IE error message explanation, it will show you the line where the error occurs.

I've already posted the solution in this forum, but unfortunately, I'm not able to find my previous post

That's correct Tobias. We also ran into similar issue when we upgraded our SAP Portal (EP7.0) to SP 16. Check for IE error message that you get when you click on logoff button. It will specificaly point out error message and what line of code its erroring out. So to resolve this issue open masthead in NWDS. locate the code (error) and comment out. Once changes have been move those changes to Portal and it should be fixed. If it doesn't work please provide us what error message you get.
