Using standard texts in workflow notifications.

Hi,

Would you please let me know the process of using standard texts created in So10 transaction in workflow notifications subject and body. READ_TEXT function module made me to code a lot as per my requirement.

Hi,

When changing the workitem text, you can use the menupath insert>Text>Standard to include standard texts in your workitem.

It's also worth mentioning that you can use program RSTXTRAN to include standard texts in a customizing transport.

Thanks your quick reply. But Iam sending mail through a background step using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 function module. Because i need to send both sap inbox as well as external mail id.

In that case you've already answered your question.

You have to use read_text if you're sending the mail manually.

Sending inbox items to email address can be achieved with the program RSWUWFML2.

You don't have to do extra coding for that.
