Local to domain Installation

Hi,

I have Solution Manager server installed on domain and the developement server installed as local.

Kindly suggest me whether I will face any issues configuring Maintainence Optimizer/ Early watch alert.

Or Have I need to do local to domain change for the Developement server.

OS - Windows 2008

DB - MSSQL

As far i know there wont be any issues with your configuration

Have I need to do local to domain change for the Developement server.

Its better to swith to Domain

Be aware that if you decide to switch the server to a domain, you must do a homogeneous system copy:

Note 1233320 - Domain migration for SAP system

If you just put the server in a domain and restart it, it won't work any more.

Hi Kumar,

In Windows , it is always reccomended to go for a domain installation than local installation due to

some authorization related issues.

Anyway it wont create any issues for configuring Maintainence Optimizer/ Early watch alert if you

provide sufficient suthorization for the users.
