ICF Node Activation every time transportation.

HI Folks,

In realtime, I am doing some change in my Development webdynpro application and transporting to Quality system, but in the quality system every time I need to Reactivate my WDY Application though the ICF node, can you please suggest me instead of activate every time transport, is there any OSS notes to activate default...becz in production I dont have access to activate this in ICF node:

please suggest me.

Hi Rajasekar Manne,

I have already seen this link, but I am not able to understand that why should we run this program/job everytime when we transport the webdynpro applications, do we have any other option to fix this issue permanently(Oss notes,paches,etc), because everytime executing job or program is very difficult in Production system, can you suggest on this.

Hi Manne,

Even I tried to run the program RSICF_SERVICE_ACTIVATION,

But it gives an error message: Application doesn't exist in table ICFINSTACT

I hope something I am missing, can you please suggest me.

Hi Naresh,

I tried same thing and am able to execute without any error. Are you passing correct values for field 'Technme'? You will have to submit the report with values 'WEB DYNPRO ABAP' & '

WEB DYNPRO ABAP DESIGN TIME'.
