Hi All,

I am the beginner in SAP IS oil and gas and I am in need of expertise guidance.

1. ) Is there any seperate server we need to use for SAP IS Oil and Gas other than R/3 ?

2. ) What are all the areas are required to concentrate while learning SAP IS Oil and Gas ?

3. ) Please guide a basic business flow in SAP IS Oil and Gas ?

1. ERP 6.0 and higher, you donot need a separate box. Lower releases need a separate box.

2. Please check help.sap.com for IS-OIL. In general SD and MM processes in Oil&Gas are important. Also Oil&Gas specific things like Commodity pricing,Quantity Conversions, exchanges, transportation are imporant.
