I added a dynamic parameter to a Crystal XI report. It is simply a text column with 7 or 8 distinct values. However, when I user it, only one choice is in the list (the lowest alphabetically should that mean anything).
After trying all kinds of things, I imported the XML into an Access database and observed that the correct list of disctinct values IS now available - the behavior is correct.
I have gone back to verify this and the conclusion is the behavior is incorrect and as described for all ADO.Net (XML) datasources and correct for all Access datasources (whether a "native" Access database or one where the contents were imported from one of the XML data sources that are behaving badly.
Has anyone observed this or have an idea?? Thanks.......
