XML_IDOCS numbering

Hi all,

we're planning to use the /sap/bc/idoc_xml service to process idocs. So far, we've been successfuly receiving IDOCs that already have an IDOC number in their guts, but we can't get it to work with IDOCs that don't have a number. In that case, we receive an error message "IDoc '0000000000000000' has already been received, therefore reception is refused".

I'm sure their is an option to tell SAP to automatically number new incoming IDOCs, but... how?

Check the IDOC number range in SNRO, the object should be EDIDOC

Hello Juan,

thanks for your answer - I found the number range, but it's not doing anything. It works for "normal" incoming IDocs but does not do anything for XML Idocs....
