Release Strategy

Hi all ,

I am creating a release strategy. I know the procedure . But I have a question why ,while creating the characteristics in add. tab, we are giving the table name as CEKKO instead of EKKO ?What is the difference between CEKKO and EKKO ?

Please explain .
