Hi,

Can anyone please let me know is there any possibility of using release strategy in Credit Management in SAP SD. I am coming across a situation in my project where, for different slabs of values, different releasing authorities are there. The following is the example.

Value upto Rs. 5,00,000 - Sales Manager can release.

Between Rs. 5,00,000 & Rs. 10,00,000 - Regional Sales Manger can release.

Above than that - Only GM can release.

So, I want to know, can we set these slabs and releasing authorities anywhere in credit management settings.

Define Document Value Classes

Document value classes provide a means of assigning sales order and

sales and distribution documents depending on their document value.

Using the document value classes, credit representatives, for example,

can be given different authorizations for credit allocations depending

on the document value. A credit representative, for example, can edit

all transactions involving credit up to the value of $1000.-, another

representative can edit transactions involving credit over $1000.-.

Actions

1. Create document value classes according to your requirements by

entering a three-character alphanumeric key and a textual

description.

2. Make sure that the credit representatives are allocated to the

document value classes.
