Hello,
I have installed MaxDB 7.6.06.03 and Database Studio 7.7.06.09 and have got a virus warning from Nod32.
C:\Program Files\sdb\programs\DatabaseStudio\utilities\pgm\dbmsrv.exe - probably a variant of Win32/Genetik trojan
Can someone else please check the file with some other virus scanner and confirm it's a false positive?
I'm using Nod32 2.7 with a database version of 4165.
Best Regards,
Stefan Gustafsson
Hi,
thanks for notifying us. The issue will have to be solved by your antivirus program vendor, but I'll try to contact them aswell and see if we can speed up a possible solution.
I highly suspect it to be a false postive indeed.
Regards,
Roland

Hello,
I don't know if I understand that you are asking about but I did copy the dbmshm.exe file from my installation onto a fileserver in our network and scanned the directory using NOD32 version 3.0.684 from another machine and got the same varning about Trojan/Genetic.
I have sent the file to NOD32 for analysis and will try to post on their support forum as well.
I also uploaded the file to virustotal.com and NOD32 was the only anti-virus out of 42 to display any warning.
This must be a false positive.
I will mark this question as answered now and continue to contact NOD32.
Thanks,
Stefan Gustafsson
