Upper Limit of Item Master

Dear all,

Is it possible to import/ support 1 million item to SAP B1 Item Master?

Even imported, is it sure the speed would be very slow?

Anyone can share experience in SAP B1 DB with such large amount of item master.

Are u going to import 1 Million item master datas totally ?

Whether it will grow every year ?

Definitely 1 Million item master datas will give perfomance problems,

While selecting item master datas from choose from list in marketing documents,

definitely it will slow inventory reports.

Average size of item master is 2.11KBM,Estimate size of 1000000 item master datas.

I don't know maximum size of item master

but based on discussion in forums,i heard that it can be 100 thousand.
